Collecting social security insurance contributions

The collection of social security insurance contributions, one of the CSSA’s principal tasks, encompasses pension insurance, sickness insurance and state employment policy contributions. The collection success rate was 99.83% in 2010.

To reach an objective evaluation of the overall success rate of social security insurance contribution collection it is appropriate to discount written-off irrecoverable receivables from the overall success rate. The data show that the value of the contribution collection success rate was above 98% in 2004 and 2005, rose to 99.5% in 2006, exceeded 100% in 2007, but fell back to 99.79% in 2008 and to below 99% in 2009. After discounting written-off irrecoverable receivables, the collection success rate increased again in 2010 to reach 99.58%.
